In addition to a large tennis facility, SVE has shuffleboard, billiard rooms and pickleboard courts, to name just a few.

Sunland Village East is a large, prestigious community located in the beautiful East Valley area of Mesa, Arizona.   The view of the Superstition Mountains at sunrise is only the beginning of the many qualities that the area enjoys. With the chain of the five Salt River lakes approximately 20 miles to the east, the area is boundless with recreational opportunities including Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park, Canyon and Saguaro Lakes and Usery Recreational Area. For those whose taste includes indoor activities, there are events year round in the area such as the new Mesa Arts Center, Gammage Auditorium and Chandler Museum of the Arts.   With a population of over 4000 active adults, Sunland Village East offers a friendly hometown feeling - close enough to the city for convenience but far enough away for tranquility

The community, with 2437 homes (single family, garden and golf condos) was established in 1984 by the Farnsworth Homes Corporation. Control was turned over to Sunland Village East Association, Inc in 1998. 

Every homeowner is automatically a member of Sunland Village East. Annual Homeowner Fees are used for financing the operation and maintenance for the Association. Sunland Village East maintains an Asset Reserve Fund from annual homeowner fees. The fund provides money for replacing and refurbishing capital assets owned by the Association.

After Hours EmergencyIn the event of a late evening or early morning emergency (7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.), please call our security service, 480-430-5043.  In lieu of security contact the community manager at any hour by calling 480-773-0028.

The following letter was put in the mail to all SVE homeowners:

November 21, 2019                                      

To All Sunland Village East Residents,

            We have enclosed your invoice for the 2020 Annual Dues.    The annual dues for 2020 are $575.00. This is an increase from last year of $25.00.

            An extra occupancy assessment shall apply to any Residential Unit if during any part of any calendar year the number of Occupants of that Residential Unit (exclusive of Servants or houseguests) exceeds two. (RCC&R 10.8).    The additional charge is 30% of the annual dues which is equivalent to $172.50 for each person in excess of two per each household.  This extra charge is payable at the same time as the annual dues. 

            Your annual dues can be paid starting December 2, 2019 thru January 31, 2020.  Dues not paid within 15 days after January 31, 2020, may be charged a late fee of 10% - $57.50 will be applied to your account (RCCRs 10.10).  Please include the invoice with your annual payment to ensure proper recording.  Payment options include:  Cash, Check, or credit card: Discover, Master Card or Visa.

            You may choose to pay your dues by phone, mail (do not send cash in the mail) or stop by the association office during regular office hours which are:

            Monday thru Thursday                        7:00 a.m. – noon or 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.
            Friday                                                 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

            We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

The SVE HOA Board of Directors thanks you for the prompt payment of your annual dues.  Your timely payment allows us to meet the current ongoing needs of our community in maintaining all of our SVE assets and amenities.  It also provides additional funds for future projects which allow SVE to continue as a viable community for current and potential residents looking for a wide array of amenities.
