Hand & Foot Card Game – Every Wednesday afternoon in the Mesa Verde Room. Rummikub – Tuesday mornings - Play starts at 10 a.m. in the Ocotillo Room.  Please join this friendly group.  Individual scores are not kept and no dues are charged.  Players are encouraged to play with different people each week.  Rummikub rules are easy to learn, however the development of skill evolves with time and practice, which keeps devotees coming back as often as possible.   For more information contact Wanda Cheney, 480-354-9174.

Fitness - Gentle StretchMeets every Saturday. Start your day with a gentle stretch and improve full body flexibility.  Join us in the Oakwood Room, 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., every Saturday, $3.00 pp.  Certified instructor can assist all capability levels; improve your full-body flexibility for optimal mobility, strength, and balance. Fitness – Gentle Yoga – Classes meet from 9 to10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.  Oakwood Room, $5.00 pp. per class or 6 classes for $25.00.  Instructor, Pat Murphy (patmurphycarrasco@yahoo.com).  Bring a mat, water, wear comfortable shoes and an open mind to feel good.

 

Low Impact Aerobics – Meet 7:15-8:15 a.m., Oakwood Room, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. $3.00 per class. The instructors will challenge us to keep in shape.  For more information contact Paula Malone, 480-984-8092.

Ceramic Club – Monday and Tuesday Open with a teacher, 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Class fee is $5.00. If you attend both Monday and Tuesday, class fee on Tuesday is reduced to $3.00. OPEN with a monitor – Thursday 9 a.m. – 12 noon & Wednesday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. No prior experience is needed to join our club and get started on a fun and relaxing hobby. Wood Carvers – Meet in the Arts & Crafts Room from 12:30 to 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. SPORTS & OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES

Tennis ClubWe welcome you to come up to the tennis courts and give tennis a try! It is a fun game for all residents of our community. Beginners are welcome on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. where we will have the best tennis coaches available to help you learn. Conservative Club –The Conservative Club will meet on November 16, 2017 in the Mesa Verde Room at 10 a.m. It will be our last meeting until the new year. We will set the agenda for 2018 at the meeting. If you would like us to address an issue that concerns you, please attend and we will discuss it, At the meeting, we will have answers to questions and concerns regarding the new apartment complex at Baseline and Hawes. Veterans Club –The Veterans Club meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Auditorium doors will open at 4:15 p.m., potluck dinner starts at 5 p.m.  Bring a dish that serves 12-15 people.  The business meeting will start immediately after dinner. Village Singers The village singers practice at 12:20 PM. on Tuesday afternoons in the Mesa Verde Room. The purpose of the practice will be to learn Christmas Arrangements to be presented during the Christmas Season. In January, The Singers will concentrate on choral selections for the Spring Show held in the Auditorium in March, Please come and join us.
