Sunland Village East has over 85 clubs, groups, and activities. And if that isn't enough, you can start your own! People here say, "I can't believe I ever had time for work!" How grand it is to be busy doing just what you want to do.

CARDS/GAMES

Bridge, Duplicate - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 PM in Ocotillo room. Players need to bring a partner. Dues are $3 per year and the cost per session is $.50 cents, which is all paid out in prize money each session. Sign up is not required. New players are always welcome. Fitness Gentle StretchCurrently not meeting., Saturdays, Auditorium from 7:30 - 8:30 AM, $4.00 pp. Start your day with a gentle stretch and improve full body flexibility. Co-ed Fitness with Maggie - Currently not meeting. – Balance (Fitness) class every Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM Classes in Chair Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Senior Fitness and Dance Fitness (formerly Zumba) are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each class is $3. or bundle 2 classes in one day for $5. Tuesdays: Zumba – 9 AM to 9:45 AM; Gentle Yoga – 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM Thursdays: Senior Fitness – 9 AM to 9:45 AM; Chair Yoga – 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM (See monthly schedule in the HOA Office).

Monday through Friday, we have three (3) classes. The south pool offers a 7:50 AM medium impact water aerobics and 9 AM low impact water aerobics. BILLIARDS

Pickleball - Court hours are 6:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. during the summer. The winter schedule (October through April) are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Only SVE residents are allowed on the courts due to HOA COVID-19 guidelines — NO GUESTS, including non-resident family members. BingoPLEASE NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control, SVE Bingo occasions will not be held until further notice. We will update our website as new information becomes available. We look forward to seeing you again. During non-Covid times, Bingo occasions occur most every Sunday except Easter in the auditorium. Doors open at 3:30 PM. Snack bar opens at 4:30 PM. Bingo starts at 6 PM. No person under the age of 18 may purchase packets, play games or claim prizes. Prize money will vary during the year based on attendance. Sunland Village East Bingo is played in accordance with the Arizona State Revenue rules and regulations, which are available on the premises along with the prominent display of the SVE Bingo license. Village Chapel - The Village Chapel is a non-denominational ministry that exists to serve SVE residents and the surrounding community. For almost 30 years the chapel has been providing weekly worship services, seasonal Bible Studies and daily prayer and support for the ill and those grieving the loss of loved ones. We normally meet every Sunday at 9 AM. At this time, due to Covid-19 restrictions, worshipers are only able to attend Sunday services via a streaming service. Woodshop The Woodshop is currently CLOSED until further notice.The Woodshop meets the first Tuesday of the month, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the auditorium. The Woodshop winter hours are 9:00 AM – 12:00 noon; 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Due to Covid-19 the protocol being utilized is the standard 6’social distancing, wearing of face mask, hand sanitizing, mandatory signin and no more than 8 members present in the woodshop at a time (That will be two monitors and 6 members).   • In the lobby of the Association office there is a filing cabinet that contains correspondence addressed to club representatives from items mailed to 2145 S Farnsworth Drive or important information from the Association office or BOD. Please pick-up the information at least once a month.
