PROPOSED BYLAW REVISION 1
To be voted on in next General Election

Owners of SVE Residences,

On April 8, 2021, your SVE Board conditionally approved a Bylaw addition to be put before you for consideration at our next general election. The conditional approval is to put this Bylaw addition before you for careful review and comment.

We will leave the comment period open until September 8, 2021 (4 months from now).

After the comment period closes, your Board will take all the comments we have received and decide whether or not a modification of the proposed language is needed. Then we will present to you a final version for consideration in the 2022 general election.

So, please read the proposed addition, and send your comments to manager@svehoa.com.

Here is the proposed Bylaw addition, in bold italics and underlined, within the contents of current Bylaw 8.1.1:

8.1    General Powers of the Board

8.1.1 The Board shall act as the principal rules and decision making body and shall establish such policies as it deems proper and expedient in conformance with the Governing Documents and all applicable Local, State and Federal laws. The primary mission of the Board shall be to preserve and enhance property values in the Association. Policies shall promote the objectives of the Association and shall protect the best interests and welfare of the Members. The Board shall have the powers and duties necessary for the administration of the affairs of the Association, including, but not limited to, the following: ....
